From 1st of January 2025, Westaro Hosing Ltd will be legally merged with Charles Hughes Ltd (Portwest). We are committed to making this merger as seamless as possible for our customers, and we will continue to keep you updated on important developments. Both entities will continue to run separately until April 2025.

1st January 2025: Legal Merger
What will be the impact for you as a customer?

There will be no change in how you place your order – you can use the same phone and email address as always and your goods will be dispatched from our warehouse in the usual way and timeframe. The only change you will notice is that from 1 January 2025, all invoices and related paperwork will show Charles Hughes Ltd details. Your accounts department has been notified of these changes.

1st April 2025: Operational Merger
The operational merger will take effect from 1 April 2025. During this phase, all customers will be merge with Portwest in terms of sales orders and invoicing. All products on the current Westaro brochure will be available as usual.

2026: New Warehouse
Plans are underway to build a new large scale warehouse in Westport next year. Further updates will be provided as this project progresses. This will allow us to stock the full Portwest range, along with other brands in Westport.

Founded in 1988, Westaro Hosing Ltd has become a market leader in the Irish workplace, supplying a wide range of protective clothing, footwear, safety, industrial hosing, and gardening products.

The business has grown from just the two of them to now employing more than 20 people right across the country. The business has been built on our reputation for excellent customer service, quality products, value for money and for supplying top of the range products from a wide range of suppliers that people know and trust.

We stock brands like Dunlop Wellingtons, AgriShield Rainwear, No Risk Footwear, Globus Gloves, Cofra Footwear, DX Workwear, JSP Safety Products & NTS Hosing & Fittings. All our products meet European Safety Standards.

Another new innovation in recent years for Westaro has been our logo and embroidery service. We offer a print and embroidery service to customise uniforms with corporate branding. We can print any design on any clothing material due to their state of the art in house printing and design department. Our range includes uniforms and specialist workwear items for construction and healthcare, hi-viz safetywear, security uniforms, and much more.
